Sokmey Dok - Founder, Hospitality Consultant
The one with a deep passion for the hospitality industry, she has dedicated herself to building a successful career on the international stage.
Experienced 13 years working in hotel industry as an employee from the most junior level, she then became the first and youngest Khmer Director at an international chain hotel in Phnom Penh. Committed to opening doors for Cambodians to rise to General Manager roles in the global hospitality industry, she began her journey as a management trainee at InterContinental Phnom Penh. Over nearly four years, she gained invaluable insights into the secret to success and operation flow across departments. She then became part of the pre-opening teams for notable properties, including the first ultra-luxury Rosewood Phnom Penh, Hyatt-Alila Resort in Sihanoukville, Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh, and Accor-TRIBE Phnom Penh. Her path to success was not easy, but her ability to work seamlessly with diverse teams proves that great achievements are possible, regardless of our origins.
